The formatting and outline style of this little book is what I was looking for. However, I was taken aback by the negative dedication. I have been working a few years in the industry and love the work. If I could make a recommendation to the author, I would suggest revising the dedication and forward to reflect a positive and uplifting aspect of the accounting field not a negative one."For you, the reader, in the hope that accounting will be a useful tool throughout your career rather than a stumbling block or source of confusion." Reading this made me feel sick inside. I would change the "rather than..." section to "your career (and that you find much satisfaction and reward in your work).
