Omg!!!!!! Omg!!!! It took long to get here and I started to regret the purchase but but, when it arrived and I looked at them, Omg!!!! I don't have words to express the beautiful amazing cards! Get them you won't regret it I promise.
I am a professional tarot card reader, so I have a large number of tarot decks. The decks I use are always one of the Marchetti decks. I was excited to recieve this oracle deck and definitely WAS NOT disappointed in any way. It's a larger deck so if you have smaller hands may be a little difficult to shuffle. The artwork and symbolism within this oracle deck runs very similar to his other decks so if you are used to working with any of his decks, this will be a very easy transition for you. Unlike many oracle decks, there are actually "light/positive" cards and "dark/negative" cards. I personally, like that in a deckThe only negative I have for any of his decks is that with heavy use, there tends to be a tendency for the front & back of the card to separate. It's an easy fix with a small amount of glue. Hence the 4* rather than a 5* review.As far as oracle decks go, it really is extremely beautiful and easy to interpret.
Absolutely gorgeous deck. You can tell just how much time and work was put into each scene. I found the cardstock to be okay not too thin or thick.The small book that comes with it is very helpful and along with the interpretation you get a quote that matches which I found extremely helpful as someone who enjoys pretty things and clever words.I bought this deck to try my hand at oracle reading since I usually read tarot and am not disappointed. Makes me want to buy the tarot decks by this artist.Definitely recommend.
i love Ciro Marchetti's decks and have them all... including some special published... this one is no different.. absolutely beautiful art and excellent support literature...i did have a small problem, two of the cards are creased ..probably got stuck in the cutter m guessing. still usable but kind of disappointed .. i will keep this one for learning use and get another one...NOTE: after i wrote the review Ciro himself contacted me and offered to replace the two damaged cards.. that in my opinion makes this a five star product when its creator cares enough to deal with issues personally.. props to mr Marchetti thanks.. :)
I adore these cards and am very connected to them. They aid in assisting with very accurate daily readings. Beautiful artwork and for me, easy to immediately read and understand. I prefer larger cards and these are very comfortable and easy to shuffle. Good card stock and seem sturdy enough to last many, many years. Note: I was connected with these cards prior to receiving after only viewing a few of the cards. I saw them and had to have them. Glad I decided on these.
I bought these cards as a Christmas gift to myself. They arrived a few days before the New Year, which turned out to be very appropriate! Using these cards was a great way to end 2014 and start 2015! I was inspired by my New Years Eve and New Years Day readings!!!First of all, I am a great fan of artist, Ciro Marchetii's work. I have his Gilded Tarot,Gilded Tarot Royale, Legacy of the Divine Tarot and Gilded Reverie Lenormand decks. I dearly love (and use) them all! I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this deck, I have many Angel and Fairie type Oracle decks that I never use. This deck really is unique!There are no keywords, meanings, suits or structure to have to memorize. No need to buy stacks of books or take expensive classes to learn these cards!!! The artist has his own interpretations on the cards (in the companion book), but he encourages the reader to interpret them any way they want. I strongly encourage you to do a few readings with these cards before you take a peek at the book!!! It was so interesting to see how different my opinions on the cards were from Ciro Marchetti's!!! (And how alike some of my opinions were!)If you have tried Tarot and Lenormand and found them too hard to learn, I urge you to give these cards a try! They have rich colorful images that will free your intuition and creativity!!! They are especially useful with a daily journal and are amazingly accurate!
The cards are vibrant and clear. The card stock is not too thick and not too thin and will definitely last through the years. The packaging is very protective and compact. I don't have to worry about the state of my cards when I put them away. Even though a booklet is included, Mr. Marchetti made the card images without titles so that they are open to the reader's interpretation.
I bought this deck about a month ago and now have had time to play with them. I *love* them! They artwork is simply stunning and the cards sturdy. This is my new favorite oracle deck. The only thing I would like to note is that the cards have a black border and if you use them frequently, you can really start to see the wear at the edges (as with all cards with black borders).
