This is a great starting point for any child who shows interest in programing. My 9yr old is having a blast learning to program on our Raspberry Pi and it is a great activity for him to do with his Linux programmer dad (the fact that he is also impressed by this book says a lot). It is simple enough to understand and the comic-book characters make it a lot of fun to read. My son hates to read- but he picks this up and gets ideas going all the time. It is worth buying if you have a young programmer and not a lot of money for a computer (Raspberry Pi's are not that expensive). Great Gift!
I actually expected to see some projects in this book but instead it tells you how to set up the raspberry pi.. I already know that part..
This is probably more for younger folks, but I find this very helpful and a good place to begin to learn.
Bought this for my son for the Raspberry Pi kit. Very useful to learn all about it. Has helped him code easily.
Just okay. Very thin and very basic.
I am so glad I got this book explains Raspberry Pi .. All versions and what they are used for lots of pictures BIG PRINT easy on the eyes. Projects are not to tough perfect for beginners very straight forward book.. Book is very basic stuff you need to know. If you are into basic robotics get this book. Very worth it for the price.
